The Collections of the Musée des Arts et Métiers
The Musée des Arts et Métiers holds the oldest collection of technological and industrial artifacts in the world. This reference heritage is now presented to the visitors through seven thematic spaces : scientific instruments, construction, communication, energy, mechanic and transportation.
A great diversity of collections
The collections catalog, wich contains 70,000 entries, is complemented by a documentary catalog, a photo library, and a digital library. The Musée des Arts et Métiers also produce audiovisual content to disseminate scientific knowledege and promote its collections.
